I chose my first tattoo wisely, it simply had a great deal of meaning to me. No one really knows, no one really asks. Sam Winston is the originator of the design. An impeccable irregular shape that attracted my eyes the second I discovered his work. It is called “Birth-Day”, created by over 100,000 circles that took him more than a month to draw. It represents the number of births that happen within a day, in which you are awake. Its not the literal meaning that triggered my impulse, but the feeling I get whenever I come across strenuous, highly detailed artworks. I praise the artists who dedicate generous amounts of time to the things they love best, whether it be lines or circles or words that create actual images.
